Dr. Jagdish N. Sheth
Dr. Jagdish (Jag) N. Sheth has a long history of successful real estate investing. Over the past 30 years, Dr. Sheth has personally owned a variety of real estate assets such as, office warehouse, multi-family, rehabilitation centers, and medical offices. Dr. Sheth has shown a keen ability to find and actively manage undervalued properties that produce strong cash flow. In his role a member of the Board of Advisors, Dr. Sheth guides investment decisions made by the Fund.
In addition to his real estate background, Dr. Sheth is a well known Professor of Marketing & Strategy. Dr. Sheth is currently the Charles H. Kellstadt Professor of Marketing in the Goizueta Business School at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to his present position, he was on the faculty at the University of Southern California (7 years), the University of Illinois (15 years), and on the faculty of Columbia University (5 years), and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2 years).
Professor Sheth has worked for numerous industries and companies in the United States, Europe and Asia, both as an Advisor and as a Seminar Leader. His clients include AT&T, BellSouth, Cox Communications, Delta, Ernst & Young, Ford, GE, Lucent Technologies, Motorola, Nortel, Pillsbury, Sprint, Square D, 3M, Whirlpool and many more. He has offered more than 1,000 presentations in at least twenty countries. He is also on the Board of Directors of several public and private companies including Norstan (NASDAQ) and Wipro Limited (NYSE: WIT).
Dr. Sheth has authored and co-authored 8 books and over 200 White Papers. His most recent book, The Rule of Three, was coauthored with Dr. Rajendra Sisodia, and published in 2002. Dr. Sheth has won numerous awards for his work. Most recently, Dr. Sheth was awarded the Marketing Educator Award for his lifetime contributions to the fields of marketing and strategy by the American Marketing Association
